New Models:
Bastian Falk: Bringing a new take on Gun Mages to the table, Bastian should embody the idea of “Shotgun Mage”. Having several different shot types that each have their own unique roll is important to this model. He should be a strong choice in the Sons of the Tempest theme force.
Champion of the Order of the Wall: The Champion of the Order of the Wall is the newest addition to the Paladin repository of the Protectorate. Bringing additional synergies with other Paladins, this model should be able to hold its own in combat, remain quite durable, and be a mobile bastion of faith.
Kaptain Sofyz Skirova: Skirova is the embodiment of stubborness. She refuses to die, and always throws herself into harms way to protect her fellow soldier. Bringing a high damage output with excellent attack stats and utilizing other Iron Fang synergies are all important aspects of her rules.
Agrimony, Crone of the Dying Strands: Agrimony should bring a touch of utility to any Ghost Fleet list. She should be influential on the board while not being an incredibly offensive piece.
Vyre Light Jacks: These light jacks should be more durable, slower, and more consistently useful than their Shyeel counterparts. Additional armor, niche special rules, and multiple combat weapons, including ranged weapons, are hallmarks of these models.
-Harpy: The Harpy is the ranged focused house Vyre light jack. Bringing a strong gun and synergizing well with the rest of the options available should be in its design.
-Siren: The Siren is the melee focused house Vyre light jack. Bringing a strong melee punch, survivability, and utility are all important to the jack.
Eminent Configurator Orion: Orion is a ranged focused Convergence caster. He should support his Vectors at ranged and rely on infantry to form the front line. Having ways of changing the “configuration” of models is important to his design goals.
Lieutenant Crosse, Resistance Fighter: Wielding a powerful artifact weapon, Lt. Crosse should be a ranged fighting power house. Soul Collection is core to his design and those souls should allow him to not only protect himself but also effect his offensive output in a large burst of energy for expending those souls.
Wold Wight A fast, light, utility light warbeast. The Wold Wight will sacrifice its own fragile body to protect stronger allies while punishing those that choose to ignore it.
Primus Jalaam: A desert dwelling big game hunter. Jalaam knows how to set a trap and use the terrain to his advantage. Focusing on ranged attacks, Jalaam should support his army while also playing the role of a ranged damage dealer.
Ice Witches: A support style mage unit that brings a solid amount of utility to the faction.
Farrow Valkyries: A very solid combat unit with Shield Guard. Durability and versatility are important to the design of this model.
Currently Existing Models:
Blackclad Stoneshaper: Combined with the below changes, the Stoneshaper should help the Wold warbeasts inside of the Circle Oroboros become more viable choices.
Bradigus Thorle the Runecarver: A slight change to Bradigus along with the Wold changes below should help this caster become a more consistently viable choice.
Woldguardian: To help further differentiate from the Woldwarden, the Woldguardian’s high damage output should diversify these two models.
Woldwarden: We really like where the Woldwarden is at the moment, but we felt it was slightly overcosted.
Woldwatcher: Reducing its point cost and increasing its MAT should help its effectiveness in combat. Durability and Versatility should be its strengths over the Woldwight.
Deliverer Skyhammers: Deliverers have seen very little table time in the new edition. We hope that these changes along with feedback throughout this cycle can help them find a niche they can fill inside of the Protectorate faction.
Holy Zealots: Adding a little consistency to this unit will go a long way. Bumping their RAT slightly could achieve this effect -- we are interested to see how a minor change like this could effect their table time.
